Web
Site Privacy and Security
When you visit our web site
to view any pages or read product information,
you do so without telling us who you are and
without revealing any personal identifying
information. While we do not collect
identifying information about visitors to our
site, we do collect information for the
purpose of tracking activity on our site. This
allows us to better understand how many people
use our site, which areas of our site are most
popular and provides insight as to changes
that will improve the functionality of the
site. Our servers collect standard
non-identifying information about visitors to
the site, such as date and time you visited
the site, your Internet service provider, the
web site that referred you to us, if any and
the page or pages that you requested. The
Windsor Federal Savings web site contains
links to community and other web sites that
are not affiliated with the bank and are not
third party vendors of the bank. While we
provide the links to such external sites, we
cannot assume responsibility for the privacy
practices or content of such sites.
There are times when you
may provide us with personal identifying
information. For example, if you complete one
of our feedback or request forms or send us an
e-mail, you are transmitting the information
that is requested in the form or that you
choose to include in the e-mail message.
However, you never transmit personal
information that you do not enter yourself and
therefore, this information cannot be
collected unless you specifically elect to
send it to us. Please do not send sensitive
information through our information request
forms or by e-mail as our request forms ARE
NOT SECURE and e-mail transmissions
through general or public e-mail are not
secure.
Whenever we collect
personal identifying information, it is used
only for the purpose of fulfilling your
request, responding to your comments or
questions or to contact you directly. We
do not give or sell your information to anyone
and we protect the security and
confidentiality of the information that we
collect.
If you visit our website to
use interactive banking tools such as
financial calculators and self-tests you may
be asked for personal information in order to
complete the requested analysis or evaluation.
This information is NOT retained.
If you identify yourself by
sending an e-mail or filling forms such as
applications, check reorder forms and contact
forms you may be asked for
personally-identifying information in order to
process your e-mail, form or application. This
information may be retained by us and our
business partners for processing and to
facilitate decisions. Information you submit
to us is treated no differently than any
information you might provide in a written
format such as a brochure application, reorder
slip to order checks, or a letter.
WinOnLine
Privacy and Security:
Information transmitted to
and from WinOnLine, our Internet banking and
bill payment service is secure and is used
only for the normal processing of your
account(s). WinOnLine uses state-of-the-art
encryption technology to ensure the security
of your account information. Encryption is the
method of encoding data so that only those who
know the code can translate the data into
understandable information. WinOnLine uses
128-bit encryption (the highest level that the
internet browsers handle) to safeguard your
account information. When you are sending
information from your computer to WinOnLine,
your browser translates the information into a
mathematical code and it is the mathematical
code that is actually transmitted to our
system. Once the system receives this code, it
retranslates it into information that can be
used by the bank.
You must enter your User ID
and Password at the start of every session in
order to use the WinOnLine service. The
password is assigned solely to you and you are
responsible for keeping it confidential in
order to prevent unauthorized access to your
accounts and to prevent unauthorized use of
the service. We recommend that you retain your
User ID and Password in a secure location,
separate from your computer and that you
change your password frequently. In addition,
do not leave your computer unattended while
you are still logged on to WinOnLine.
WinOnLine e-mail is secure
and therefore, you may send sensitive account
or personal information through the WinOnLine
site only. Please note however, that WinOnLine
e-mail should only be used to address
questions or inquires associated with the use
of the Windsor Federal Savings Internet
Banking and Bill Payment Service.
We protect and safeguard
the privacy of users of our on-line services,
just as we do throughout the rest of our
business. We will use personal information to
identify you, to communicate with you, and to
help us answer your questions.
